Barbeque Shrimp Skewers

Shrimp Sauce
- 1/4 lb. unsalted butter, divided
- 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons blackened seasoning
- 1 tablespoon Louisiana hot sauce
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1/2 cup of your favorite lager beer
Shrimp Sauce
In large pan on stove, melt 1 tablespoon of butter on medium heat, then add garlic and cook until soft.
Add hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, beer, and 2 tablespoons of blackened seasoning.
Bring to a boil and cook 5-10 minutes or until sauce is thick and reduced. Remove from heat and stir in remaining butter.
Barbeque Shrimp Skewers
Thaw frozen shrimp in refrigerator overnight.
Preheat grill to high.
Skewer shrimp on 4 pre-soaked bamboo skewers.
Season shrimp with the reserved 1 teaspoon blackened seasoning.
Grill 2-3 minutes per side, depending on size of shrimp.
Pour shrimp sauce over each skewer when serving.
Optional: Serve with a glass of your favorite lager and crusty bread to mop up the sauce.
