How to grill peppers and onions
Grilled peppers and onions add a slightly sweet flavor and perfectly complement the rich beefiness of this burger. It’s easy to roast red peppers and onions on the grill while your burger is grilling. Start by slicing the red bell pepper in quarters and the onion in ½ inch thick slices to ensure they don’t slip through the grill grates. If you prefer, you can use a vegetable grilling basket, but placing the peppers and onions directly on the grill grates works too.
To grill, lightly oil the vegetables using a pastry brush, season with salt and pepper or our Garlic & Herb rub, and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until crisp and tender. Be careful not to burn your red peppers and onions. Visit our vegetable grilling guide for more helpful tips. Once grilled, you can slice the red peppers into smaller strips and assemble your burger.
How to grill Omaha Steaks burgers
Omaha Steaks all-beef burgers are quick and easy to grill with minimal preparation necessary. Grill the burgers directly from frozen, season, and place on a pre-heated 450°F grill or use a cast iron skillet on the grill for a crispy sear and natural smoke flavor. Follow the included cooking directions for grilling and flipping times for your Omaha Steaks burger.
Cook until the internal temperature of your meat reaches 160°F as measured by a meat thermometer. Be careful of overcooking – this can dry out your burger. Check out our 4 tips for grilling the perfect burger to guarantee a delicious burger every time.
